and they would ALSO occasionally rerelease xbox360 originals with the modern packaging so the top banner looks like this

all the way up until i was in FIFTH GRADE a surprisingly large majority of my classmates refused to say stuff like "oh my god" or "what the heck" and tell on other students for saying said phrases (my elementary school was EXTREMELY religious)

IM RED EYED BARRYYYY OOOUUGGH IM REDEYE BARRYYYY

i also think its so backwards that as a whole society is so much more accepting of tomboys than they are femboys. like, its literally just the same concept but reversed, why do people have so much more problems with one but not the other??

260

this EXACT thing was what made my dysphoria so much worse when i labeled myself as a femboy. it didnt help that almost anyone i would talk with would say this, even if joking.

don't ask questions you aren't prepared to handle the answer to.

bro i dont blame him that shit confusing asf

and The Lost Mattress, Selling Out, Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy IV, Have You Seen This Snail, Dunces and Dragons, Krusty Towers, Whale of a Birthday, Wishing You Well, etc etc season 4 has some damn bangers

190

do people just forget that Fear of a Krabby Patty and Skill Crane came from season 4

yeah my opinions on rtx for sm64 are definitely mixed. i think colored point lights are a cool implementation, but seeing mario's fully rendered shadow makes me feel generally less confident in my platforming. the circular one is just better for accessibility imo

it honestly makes me wonder what the game would've looked like had nintendo not been limited by the 64s hardware

i also think its just generally offputting to see something youre so familiar with to be presented in such a drastically different way, especially for a game as graphically limited as mario 64

220

i would most closely relate it to the kind of mod packs intended to make minecraft look like its trailers. technically its very impressive and great for screenshots, but it ultimately affects the game in unique, unintended ways that are gonna make it divisive for people who wanna play it as intended

this has the same vibe as the spongebob hotwheels that looks like a ups delivery truck

or absolve the media in question of flaws, for that matter

i also feel like way too many people use it as an excuse to keep liking a franchise or piece of media while avoiding something negative about it. i do believe you can enjoy media regardless of the creator's reputation, but i dont think you should use that as a way to absolve yourself of flaws

110

i was gonna say i would fw an sm64 remake that style matches the promotional n64 renders of the time and then i remembered that render96 is literally just that

i don't know that i would call a bathroom with a giant floor to ceiling glass shower "one of the safest spots in the house" in case of a tornado

they should parody feastables but with dry bones as an advertisement in the next mario kart game

they look less like monsters and more like those personified germ cells you see in medical commercials

this is an ai clip, by the way! this is sourced from @azzalto.studio on instagram, which is an account dedicated to posting ai generated clips

just finished replacing the battery in a 2ds xl and i now want to smite nintendo down with the might of zeus (i.e. the amount of force i needed to use to remove their glued down fucking battery)

i didnt touch my dashboard at all where the FUCK is CoMaps trying to send me 😭

born in 2009, first played mario 64 when i was 10 on a macOS-only emulator with a busted video plugin and keyboard only controls. it is probably one of my most played games ever at the moment, which is impressive since i have playtimes of upward of 800 hours in some other games
