Tip I learned from a friend: Don't trust life decisions after 10 pm. -Do- trust writing decisions for characters after 10 pm. Humans can get very creative at night. Best save it for your OCs or fanfics.

I drew this a few days ago and I've been -trying- to digitize it, but brain is not doing the process like it should...

Finally, I have the things I need to fix up some wooden furniture my husband and I saved from the curb. Now I just have to start with the easiest one. Sanding down this table to get the paint off, check if a stain looks good, get paint if it doesn't, and seal it up nicely.

This really is giving me the same feeling as thinking of school. Learning HOW to solve the problem is more important than the problem itself The ability to make, solve, create is the entire point of being a human Ai generation isn't some Big leap, it's corpations stealing so they don't have to pay

"what did students do before chatgpt?" well one time i forgot i had a history essay due at my 10am class the morning of so over the course of my 30 minute bus ride to school i awkwardly used by backpack as a desk, sped wrote the essay, and got an A on it.

six months later i re-read the essay prior to the final exam, went 'ohhhh yeah i remember this', got a question on that topic, and aced it.

point being that actually doing the work is how you learn the material and internalize it. ChatGPT can give you a short cut but it won't build you the the muscles.

I think of an art teacher I had once who said he used to be terrible at drawing hands until he bought a book with 100 pictures of hands shown from various angles and drew each hand in the book 10 times. Magically, after drawing 1,000 pictures of hands, he wasn't bad at drawing hands anymore.

The reason OP could bullshit a decent essay in a 30 minute bus ride is because OP knew how to write and craft a well-reasoned analysis thanks to a childhood full of writing and critical thinking practice.

Feel like I'm transforming into one of those reddit assholes, but this genuinely is just a "skill issue" and you really do just have to "git gud."

I finally got a screenshot of all eight of Veladora's current set of mogs (more to come). The most fashionable of the Dawnwatcher siblings with her favorite color blue. 😊🔵

Had a health scare at the start of this year. Finally got the bill. It's 2.5k *because* I'm uninsured. Would have been 6k, otherwise. All for some checks and a couple of saline bags. This is why people don't go to the doctor here in the States unless we think we're about to die.

Ended up making a fun picture for my friends to help keep my #OCs straight. Lol. These are all siblings and not even half of my #WoWOCs that I have.

A picture of seven people, each in golden frames, numbered 1-7 in order of oldest to youngest. 1 - Belline, also called Bell. 2 - Letricia, also called Lettie. 3 - Eviaedel, also called Evie. 4 - Jyral, also called Jy. 5 - Veladora, also called Vela. 6 - Faedori, also called Fae (this is written in red across the portrait, making it a bit hard to read). 7 - Alicianna, also called Alice.

All seven of them are elves, hair colors varying from either blonde to red, save for Evie with her dyed black hair. Evie's portrait has two of her pets photo bombing. A red cat and a magic flying, blue-silver worm.

The family is called Dawnwatcher, hence the file name "The Dawneatchers". Most of the siblings are serious in their photos save for Fae giving an apologetic grin.

I was writing a cute little fic for an OC of mine. I had a separate idea that was the same character but with *heavy* angst. Anyways, there's going to be a silly work of mine out there soon where a character of mine gets a cat and it ends with angst. And him getting a cat.
