My dad, as a toddler, lost half his tongue tin a lye incident. Afterwards, he got nutrients from Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk for a term. He loved this 1970s pie made with it. It's actually sickeningly sweet, but I made it for Solstice dessert. Pleasant memories. #foodie
