I’m an RN. One of our clinics had a visit by ice last week. I don’t know the outcome. In other news: our union contract ends in 74 days and there’s no progress in bargaining. Our last contract wrapped up 18 hours before we walked. A strike looks fairly certain this time-both sides are committed.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE. This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined. It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
