🏆4-0-2 into top 8 of the #HOB Brisbane Spotlight Limited Championship Qualifier. Then 2-0d the draft to make the finals, split the cash and gave my opponent the invite because I won't be able to make the Limited Champs anyway. Technically undefeated all day.

#NomadTierList #SOS results. First time I've nailed the #1 common for every colour! W: c=3/4 u=1/2 U: c=3/4 u=1/2 B: c=1/4 u=0/2 R: c=3/4 u=2/2 G: c=3/4 u=1/2 Commons = 65% Uncommons = 50% Picked the best deck but majorly missed on WR and overrated BG.

🏆3-0 at our final #SOS #MagicMates draft with a fun WRu Restoration Seminar deck. Very lucky to beat @draftpunks.bsky.social in the finals who had an insane UR mill deck with Mathemagics, Tidecaller and 2x Expressive Iteration. My SB splash swap to black for Render Speechless won me that match.

Another 2-1 at tonight's #SOS #MagicMates draft with a somewhat scrappy UG deck. Opened Geometry and Tidecaller but was seated next to a UR Tidecaller drafter so didn't have much wiggle room. Played an 18th land over a bad 23rd card. Couldn't fit my P3P1 Winds of Abandon in either.

🏆3-0 at a Win a Mox Opal Vintage Cube draft (split the Opal with my finals OP). P1P1 Ajani (passing Flash), into Mana Crypt, Dungeoneer, Skullclamp (over Ancient Tomb) and off to the races. WR was contested but my strong cards were just really good. Person to my right opened 3 Moxen 🤯

1-1-1 at tonight's #MagicMates #SOS draft with Jeskai control. Was ahead in g3 but couldn't close in turns. Ended up replacing the Antiquities with a Landscape Painter because it wasn't great on the splash. Had the option of going full Whale/Tackle Artist but didn't think it was very good.

🏆 3-0 with 5c Stallion soup but the real trophy goes to my epic finals match against my Silverquill opponent who had Moment of Reckoning, Antiquities on the Loose and Restoration Seminar. G3 ended after I attacked all, then didn't counter Antiquities predicting they had Interjection for the win.

Identified the open lane about halfway through pack 2 and ditched most of my first pack of WB cards to pivot become what turned out to be the only Lorehold drafter. Played a lot of filler but I mostly discarded it to find the bombs 🤣

Another 2-1 at the #MagicMates #SOS draft with mediocre Silverquill. Had some close games but Practiced Offence managed to steal a few. Manabase felt terrible, there were no WB dual lands in our draft. In pack 3 I was so short on 2s I was passing Last Gasp for the Referees 🤣

Lost the finals of a Final Fantasy set cube draft by getting my opponent to 1 life with no cards in my library after they topdecked a reanimation spell for their Primal Odin. Good times. Nobody else was in green in the pod 🤯

🏆 7-1 with Exhibition Tidecaller control. So many ways to draw cards I could find it every game and cast two 5MV spells. Only 3 creatures (all rares). Double Chase Inspiration + Force of Will to protect worked every time. No draft log because I was on mobile.

1-2 at our first #MagicMates #SOS draft. Didn't get much of a signal P1 and moved into Prismari but turns out 4 other people in the 10 player pod did too (including on my right). Didn't really have an off ramp and missed on the proactive Prowess deck I was going for and ended up too unfocused.

3-1 losing in the finals (1-2) at a Win a Box #SOS prerelease. Deck was consistent (if slightly underpowered) Witherbloom. Top tables were almost all BG as well, with 1 Jeskai and 1 Silverquill (which went 4-0). Additive Evolution probably the biggest performer in the deck.

One really cool thing about Secrets of Strixhaven is that there are exactly 24 Monocolored cards per color, with 8 that you want more in one College, 8 in the other, and 8 that you want for both

It's been a while since I had a truly ridiculous turn 1 in #PoweredCube. My opening hand was Academy, Mana Crypt, Mox Pearl, Pinnacle Emissary, Skullclamp, Candelabra. Proceeded to draw my deck, dump >20 power on board and Mind Twist 6 of my opponent's cards.

🏆 3-0 with a rather dull Elves deck at our #MagicMates #ECL draft. P1P1 Morcant's Eyes, P2P1 Gloom Ripper so forced it despite not being open. 3x Tilling helped me find my good cards and managed to dodge any creatures that really needed killing with my 0 removal spells (except Gloom Ripper).
