Got my Covid vax. Went to Michael's for costume supplies. Picked up some makeup for costume, and boring stuff like shampoo. Reasonably productive day so far.

Haha! This made me think of the studio apartment Mike lived in in downtown BR when we met. Little studio with a side hall off the kitchen that had its own exit, not visible from the main door. Rumor was that they were for legislators and their mistresses.

Jindal did a ton of damage to the state workforce. For whatever tech training he may have pushed, he is a contributor to the problems with technology in state government. I'm a retired state IT worker, as is my husband.

It is very good. I haven't been in a few years. My friend is in the Texas Chainsaw section this year. Every year I am impressed when she posts pictures of herself in makeup/costume. They do an amazing job.

My two really expensive prescriptions (GLP1 and arthritis med) get delivered. There may very well be a bunch of stress and fighting about it but I guess I'm not standing at the counter to see it.

I fortunately don't have issues with prescriptions too often, but every time I go to the pharmacy there's someone with insurance or a doctor's office trying to figure some BS out so a customer can get their meds. How many hours are wasted this way?

Good lord. We haven’t even lived here that long and my husband could probably fix this for them. He's on a mission to ride his bike to every library. His biggest challenge, if course, is that 1/3 of them have been closed.

My kid lived next door to there for 2 years. We basically lived in kid's apartment for a summer. No issues whatsoever. Other than a spooked horse causing a carriage to hit kid's car.
