🇵🇱 Tukidydes w e-booku za 66PLN, w 2026 roku 😂. To są jakieś kpiny ze zdrowego rozsądku i elementarnej uczciwości.

I feel accomplished now, nothing can beat that, my work here is done.

Opus 4.7/4.8 has certainly changed some rules of the games for me. And no, certainly not the range of my responsibility ;)

Compile: Main 1 - a good proposal for a quick skirmish #boardgame #duel

New week, new #boardgame - how about something aggressively competitive this time?

Sebastian Gebski @nokillswit.ch · 08/05/2026

Every board game enthusiast has their own soft spot – a beloved game that has never made it onto the lists of the top-rated ‘sure-fire hits’. In my case, ‘Beast’ undoubtedly falls into this category. No wonder I keep picking up all the expansions as soon as they are printed. Truly recommended!

If you have a few days off before the NY's Eve, what better way to spend your time than ... another #boardgame ;) This one is really demanding (time-wise also) - you have been warned ...

How about YET ANOTHER badass #boardgame recommendation before the end of the year? Wonderful art, asymmetry, a lot of ruse and other negative interaction - do I have to say more? :)

030

Sebastian Gebski @nokillswit.ch · 14/12/2025

It's a new #boardgame season (TBH just a beginning of it ...) - how about a duel tactical game with a lot of asymmetry?

Sebastian Gebski @nokillswit.ch · 07/12/2025

Much water has flowed under the bridge since I annoyed you with some new board game - it's time to start catching up ;P I'll start with "Blighted Reach" - actually, it's not a game, but the expansion to Arcs by one of my fav studios: Leder Games. #boardgames #scifi

Did my reMarkable shrink in the wash? 🤔

Out of curiosity I've decided to install Omarchy (omarchy.org) on a spare toaster (check the screen for specs) - and I'm VERY positively surprised.

OMG, ScriptKit has an MCP Server built in. It's gonna be an intensive workstation automation weekend ;D

🇵🇱 No i pękło nam 1000 subskrybentów @ctomorning.coffee ☕ na YT 😹. Nie, wcale tego jednego ostatniego suba nie wyżebrałem - dementuję pogłoski, a dowodów nie ma ... 🙅 P.S. Dzięki dla wszystkich, którzy się zapisali 🙇. It's still Day 1 💪. /cc: @onyszko.com , @wjptak.bsky.social

Why not to ... play a game? This time: the euro-style, tableau-building, witcher-themed game :) #boardgame

There was nothing about new board games for 6 days here ... It's time to fix it 🔥🚀 #boardgame #ledergames

I didn't expect such a busy start to the year. Such gems (like the one in the picture) are still waiting to be unpacked (not to mention actually played...). #boardgamegeek

I always liked handy devices (with styluses) for making notes. Here's one I used circa 2004 (yes, that's >20 years ago - no mistake here ...). It was powered by the long-forgotten, nightmarish Windows Mobile OS.

The exclusive membership card 🤭 of @ctomorning.coffee looks neat 😉 ... What discounts or privileges does it grant? 😏 (wrong answers only ofc) I'll start: - 25% discount when buying BTC on FTX? - hardcopy of a Scrum Guide bound in managers' skin? - code to enable ScaJo's voice on ChatGPT?

Apparently, a full year wasn't enough for me to clear the whole AoC 2023 😅, but ... it doesn't mean I'm not up for the 2024 edition. Why so? For kicks'n'giggles, to avoid some "brain muscle atrophy", and try new stuff outside of my comfort zone 😼 adventofcode.com

This may be a tad premature opinion, but after using Keychron K2 HE for ~24h, I have a hunch it may be the best mechanical keyboard I've ever used (7 so far). Those magnetic switches indeed DO have a unique feeling. I'll probably review it more extensively in a bunch of weeks.

I've been to the vast majority of European countries. I tend to split their capitals into two groups: the ones where you can perceive formal imperial glory and the ones where you can't. Rome clearly belongs to the first group. Still impressive, even after ~2k years.

End of the year - it's a good moment to check if various experts' predictions for 2023 have truly materialized ... But I've just found this gem from Forbes & I don't think I could find anything that beats it ... www.forbes.com/sites/bernar...

Congratz to Awaken Realms. One day before the campaign's end, the Nemesis: Retaliation fundraiser has surpassed $10M. This is a mind-blowing success; and a well-deserved one. #boardgame #nemesis #gamefound #crowdfunding

Call me old-fashioned 🤷, but I believe in the power of honest & selfless recommendation. Today's portion of kudos goes to Gergely Orosz - the author of The Pragmatic Engineer who has recently published a career guidebook 📖 for engineers (any exp/level) - www.engguidebook.com. Highly recommended 👌

P.S. In addition to posting new stuff, I plan to revisit (and re-post) some old content 📜 - "crème de la crème" of what you can find at NKS (which stood the test of time and remains relevant, ofc). Stay tuned 👍. P.S.S. How it started ...

Running in the woods during the fall has its undeniable charm. It's like dashing through a golden tunnel covered with gleaming gold-ornamented tapestries.

🇵🇱 Kolejna "czytanka" wjechała - idealnie, bo przed weekendem. No, sądząc po grubości lektury, to zajęcia będzie jednak na trochę dłużej niż jeden weekend 😉. I zmroziło mnie gdy zobaczyłem, że to tylko "Tom 1" 😅.

I have zero idea what that is, but it looked so intriguing that I just couldn't stop myself from sharing 😂

I'm not an autograph collector, I have just a few, but all of them are pretty dear to me (e.g., Umberto Eco, Joe Abercrombie). This definitely applies to this one as well - William Gibson, "Pattern Recognition".
