I'm a little sad the remake doesn't do a little more in terms of gameplay. OoT3D already felt like a definitive version otherwise. And now the precedent is set for expectations of MM at least to get the same treatment with this style.

main priorities for this were Eyes, I wanted a sense of depth plus effects and Hair, just figuring out what it would look like in moving side to side. But also, I guess just updating the previous model and having thicker lines so its easier to see in general!

after initial knee jerk reaction, I'm feeling open to what OoT26 has to offer. I think Link does look weird atm and less like a child elf, more like a pointy earred dwarf, but I'll wait until he's up and awake with his eyes open to make a final call. If reimagining, hopefully is really worthwhile!!

i think, with designing this outfit, i may change vespy so that they have less patterns normally and the additional symbols need to be "activated". So no star and swirls on chest, maybe no neck collar, etc.

last minute thought before bed. I thought and it is the case, my umbreon has had a star longer than not. In fact, 10y anniversary is coming up. It's interesting because that also means it's approaching or passed the length of time prior to star where umbreon was even something i was aware of.

City Trail being 5 min but the stats you gather being much more plentiful is interesting. I never struggled with maneuvering in GCN but I don't think I'd ever increase the time on Switch because it's so possible to get out of control within that 5 minutes. And the map is so much more intricate...
