The Last Sacrifice is a cool documentary about a real life murder that inspired folk #horror films such as the Wicker Man. Told via talking heads and oodles of archival and film footage. I found it lacked structure and meandered at times, but it's still worth watching if you're a fan of true crime

Black Hole is based on a collection of Estonian novellas. A black hole appears in the bushes outside an apartment block, leading to all sorts of scenarios that affect local residents love and happiness. I had a great time with this, I don't know when it will be on wider release but keep an eye out

Treated myself to a break from reading about the decline of the free world by watching Pacific Rim, and I highly recommend this course of action. Epic fun, monsters, robots, Irish Elba and Charlie Hunnam, and Charlie Day basically being an alt version of his Always Sunny character if he were smart

Forgot to post this last night. My and hubby tend to watch a lot of Ghost Story for Christmas episodes at this time of year. The 1989 version of Woman in Black is very similar in tone to these. It's also bloody scary. Free to watch on YouTube, get it in your eyes! #Christmas #horror #movies

Rudimentary inspection of the #28YearsLater poster by myself & osteological colleagues has found that the human spine must invert itself at some point in the zombification process. The shape and size of those spinous processes are consistent with lumbar vertebrae from the lower back #horror #scicomm
