Personally Persona is a lot more approachable in comparison to the rest of SMT which deals with a lot more existential themes and more overtly world ending threats. Yeah Kamoshida's palace is a big point, but a reminder that most of the time you're living your school life with other pals.

Featured story, they're kind of locked into their character trait and don't grow beyond "that pivotal story moment" like Nanako getting yoinked. And the only real character growth that happens in story are the forced social links like Morgana and Teddy.

Update to this is that I'm going to go to the vets tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10 and schedule her surgery after her blood test and medicine. I don't have all the money for it yet but I can't lose her, so I'm going to have to figure that all out. Adopts are still coming.

I will always tell my friends that their arcs can be viewed that way, but it isnt JUST THAT way. If they wanted the gay route, Yosuke's cut content from the original was right there, and it would be a BALLSY and hilarious move for them to try and add that into the game.
