NobodobodoN @nobodobodon.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Though I have to admit I would have a great deal of schadenfreude if the process of choosing a minority leader is even half as contentious as his ascendancy to Speaker. 110
NobodobodoN @nobodobodon.bsky.social · 12/10/2026I think he's saying he would become the minority leader, not retain the speakership. Frankly, I don't think anyone cares enough about the position of minority leader to make a fuss about it. I know I certainly don't. He can have it. 110

NobodobodoN @nobodobodon.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Horsesnot. There's a huge world of difference between minor property crime and major violent crime. Maybe you can make this argument once people drag ICE agents from their cars and pummel them. 140

NobodobodoN @nobodobodon.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Odd. Last year was a great year for fireflies in my neighborhood. This year less so, but still better than it used to be. Junebugs and crickets seem reduced lately, though. Given how the neighborhood cats have been targeting my yard lizards, I would expect more of most bugs. 101
NobodobodoN @nobodobodon.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Maybe they're trying to make some distinction between voting and non-voting stakes in a company. My current employer has a silent partner who pockets 25% of our profits but has no say in the business decisions. Does she "own" less than one of the working partners with a 25% stake? I don't know. 100
