After a century, a long-range exploration craft has been built to reconnect lost civilizations of humanity.

How was it to start? Seems like you each would get to decide whether you appreciated being resurrected and brought together- It's almost always difficult to build that in-world party unity, even with a team of players who know each other well. Did you go along with the plan, or demand answers?

What's cool about that as a premise, is that you get to start yourselves as characters who have worldly experience, but without the combat-shortcuts of being higher level. Were you playing it as if you were a party that got reset? Guessing not if you were varying levels; so more of a heist team?

Thank you, I ran into a few spoilers already 😅 my plan was originally to not use any guide, to avoid spoilers and avoid obsessing over every missable and detail, but I was convinced it was worth getting all 108 in each games, so, had to make the trade off.

This show does kill off too many interesting characters. When you said that it made me remember the mayor, I miss her! The judge was also cool, and they gave her a memorable death but— Characters who are alive can create conflicts for each other… You get free story by not-killing-them-off.

How do you make coffee? That was the prompt given for a Domestika course on Visual Thinking. The instructor’s drawings were way cuter than mine, which always pisses me off 😆 But it was good to be forced to think through a process like this and to try to represent it visually.

Crude ink drawings on scratch paper. Depicting process of making coffee. Get mug from lower cupboard, get coffee from cupboard above. Put water in mug. Put mug in microwave. One minute. Unscrew coffee. Get spoon from drawer. Get spoonful of coffee. Sprinkle in coffee and salt, then stir.

My sister loved season 1 and read all the books. The source material is a mess. The books only gained best seller status by being one of the first in the sci-fi self-publishing niche. It’s self-published, so no editor ever sat the author down and forced him to take the story somewhere coherent.

That was such a terrible fight. Some fussy gimmick that must be obeyed or game over. When my playthrough gets to that battle, I forget what stupid thing I’m going to need to do, but it’s burned into my brain that there’s a stupid thing I have to look up first 😅
