I have something special planned for this gig, a max msp patch I've poked over many years, Its a bit of a gamble as to how it will go as it is very experimental, but I think that will align well with the theme of the evening. Its been some far out stuff in the past. luma.com/b9715vv8

A poster for the next Charlie and Lucy gig at pattern club:
Bathbib#2.

A lot of jittery spikey stuff this time I guess.

Posset: c'mon, you know Posset by now don't you? The dictaphone guy? Yeaaaahhh...did one of the finest 'noise' shows I've ever seen, but I'm glad to say the fame hasn't got to him.

John Jasnoch: jittery guitar ledge. He can play every single note on a guitar. Wriggly worms of dexterity offset by that inner peace you thought you were sure you'd never experience again that day she left you.

Nik Nenov: Computer Whizzkid, prone to deconstructing sound and putting you back together in the process. Sometimes glitchy, sometimes pounding, always maximum rubies.

Godzilla-Airhorn: we're just giving this guy 20 minutes because we felt sorry for him. Arrive late if you can.

An explosive cocktail of vibrant music to match any mood. Step into an infinity pool of possibility and spiraling charasmataz. A cockroach scurries down your spine of well-spent evening. No task cannot be handled by these purveyors of sounds enough to make the most jaded of flies dribble. Spectacular vernacular dracula spatula commin' attcha.

Its pretty wild how many videos there online for Cinema 4D / redshift to get alpha channel for your background. Its one of those settings that gets hidden/moved around between updates. And nothing boils my piss more than having to watch a 3~5 minute video about where a slider or a checkbox is.

various search engine results titled things like "where'd the background button go"

its kind of working, not really, but quite cool for abstract base coat. basically i was curious how easily/quickly i could do a light paint from octane to something i could export into real time soft e.g. tixl

3 view windows, bottom left is a beauty render using octane, the mesh has good realistic lighting, the window above that shows the baked uv map, the big window in the background shows the mesh with the baked texutre applied, there are some visible seams but overall the impression of lighting is there

My first ever PC demo successfully executed last night at @evoke , people seemed to like it, there were so many great demos too, it's been an amazing weekend!

I like to collect screenshots of my lumetri scopes on the different projects I work on, I love the aesthetic

a desaturated looking graph like view of a height map sort of looking representation of colour channels luminosity of an unknown image

I like the aesthetic of projected intersections masks

screenshort of an orthographic view of seemingly overlapping low poly 3D spheres, anywhere where they would be overlapping or intersecting the polygons have been removed, creating a jagged looking black border

A photo of the band Million Moons, its completely crimson red, the flash pointed directly at the band with a pink and orange filter stacked

a close up shot of Adam (haunted totem) with a yellow flash directly illuminating his face from below, very creepy, very crisp

a basically pitch black photo of Adam with an extremely thin rim light barely making out his figure standing on stage with another figure to the right, a remote flash lens flare source is visible just to the far right

flash photo combined with shakey long exposure of Adam (haunted totem) with glasses and beard playing electronic music on a small white device, the imge is a wide crop with smears of colour going up

the last band to play was called Million Moons, they were amazing. Post rock from London.

this band is called Civil Service, they are a post rock band from Manchester, really good and lovely guys. Btw the event was at Mary St Live in sheffield, same place I went to play last friday, hadn't been there before, its a nice venue.

the scene is harshly lit from the front with a bright yellow flash, two guys have come down from the stage are are singing into a mic together, guitarist is visible on stage to the right

a really smeared long exposure photo with figures playing guitars barely discernible, teal colours and some red highlights

a dark photo of the band, not smeared this time, all in focus, 3 guitarists, the one on the right has his back to the audience and is playing a keyboard, the drummer is at the back generally looking camera direction
