Loish est une artiste phénoménale, dont le travail est une source d'émerveillement depuis plus de 10 ans, mais voilà qu'on l'accuse d'utiliser l'IA. C'est ça aussi cette tech de chiasse: la perte de confiance envers tout ce qu'on voit, la méfiance face au vrai talent et au beau.

C'est une technologie parfaite pour les chefs. C'est leur boulot, ils donnent des instructions à des larbins et le travail est plus ou moins bien fait. Mais là en plus ils n'ont même plus besoin de faire semblant d'être poli ou de respecter les droits des gens.

Si je devais faire une analogie avec ce que l’IAGen apporte à mon métier, je dirai que c’est comme un cuistot, pour qui l’IAGen ferait toute la cuisine plus vite, sans qu’il ne sache d’où viennent les ingrédients ni le matériel, mais qui se retrouve à devoir faire 2 ou 3 fois plus la plonge après.

Après la différence, c’est que les humains se battent au côté des robots dans Infinity. Qu’on n’est pas sur de la haute intensité, mais sur de l’opération spéciale. Infinity n’est pas réaliste. Mais ça m’a fait bizarre de voir cette vidéo.

Fun fact: Once had a player drop out of a campaign because they knew I made TTRPGs, put me on a pedestal, and then lost respect for me when I just ran a pretty normal game (all their own words). They were genuinely upset that I didn’t live up to their expectations. I think about that a lot. :/
