If people don’t have access to stabilization, they will do the work of liberation from a trauma-fueled place. And if it’s trauma-fueled it will replicate trauma. We see this in movements as lateral violence.

As someone with complex illness, I am still surprised by the complete lack of curiosity in most doctors. When something doesn’t fit in a neat little box, it gets ignored which means that most of my experience is ignored = inadequate to no treatment

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

I’ve been invoking Popper’s paradox several times a day in the last couple of weeks. For the folks in the back: Tolerance of intolerant ideologies means those ideologies will gain ground leading to exclusion, oppression, and erasure. There is no both sides equivalence. We need to draw hard lines
