Already rebutted this argument. Short mission structures being praised as "good for portable" ignores how people ACTUALLY plays games. You're just gonna pause and put the PSP into sleep mode mid mission. Coop makes a bit more sense sure

I was thinking about this when redoing the annoying scripted shit in RE8 over and over recently. Why don't I hate going through it again? Why dont I hate sitting through all the walking bullshit at the start of 7 or 4? Because it's ritualistic. Just meaningless shit we redo because it feels right!

Just watch this clip. More menus than game, and the game part is too easy. Other MGS games I would've made 40 careful decisions on the way. Short mission structure for the portable? Nahhhh, as if you don't just pause and put it to sleep mid-mission anyway.

Nah, like dog look at this. More menus than game. And the game is SO EASY that I don't have much fun. In other MGS games I would've made 40 decisions on the way to that goal. I would've had thought processes and decided what resources to spend. Here I just reacted brain off

Portable Ops has more issues and is an objectively worse game, but these days I like it more because it's actually challenging and I have to actually consider my surroundings (like an mgs game...) I really hope sometime they port Portable Ops with right stick and a slightly zoomed out camera

Nah. Face button aiming not as much a nerf as you think it is. Was still a fake frictionless mgs game on psp. Portable ops had more actual stealth. More unwieldy and with its own problems sure, but at least the enemies actually saw you and your gear wasn't OP as hell

Im fact I was disappointed they didn't have the PSP controls in this new version. On PSP clacking the buttons to aim made it feel like it's own game. Now it just feels like fake MGS4

I'm realizing Peace Walker is kinda the worst MGS game. Frictionless stealth, more menus telling you about unlocks and numbers going up than actual gameplay, tedious meatsponge bosses, levels that are 1 minute long, you can beat this whole game with empty mags and a banana it's too easy

Here, a perfect example of what I mean from today's run of RE2 Claire B. Notice how zombie placement, reaction speed, turn speed and movement speed are all dialed in to match the player's traversal limitations. There's incredible depth here that did not happen by accident.

Reading into it a little bit, sounds like Larry was a bad father who liked skipping out on child support despite being rich. Ouch! Also some claim he cheated on them. He divorced his last wife after he discovered she was cheating on him. Guess karma comes back around in the end

Larry King has been divorced 7 times, wow! Not counting his first marriage with his highschool girlfriend, which was annulled (nullified) by their parents. Could that have had a lasting impact?

His last marriage lasted a much longer time than the previous, but ultimately they separated a few years before his death.
