I had this Japanese poem (#77 from the Hundred Poets) in my mind when I wrote the message. The image of swift waters parting and joining again was written about lovers, but I feel it equally applies to old friends, and even old hobbies. It’s alright to have time apart and meet again down-stream. 💙

My other big DIY project - I painted our old IKEA console unit green! It took a whole week and at one point I felt like I was drowning in panels but it was so worth it 🥰🥰🥰 honestly cannot recommend it enough if you want to refresh the look of an old piece of furniture. Immensely satisfying ☀️
