I've been cleared to go back to work. Lucking the short stint in the purgatory know as christian non-profits will be over soon.

I am doing something called "transition to work" where my employer pays me to work, but instead of my normal job they have me "volunteer" at a non-profit. Just so happens that the place they have me at is a christian thrift store... and I'm hating every moment of it.

The rejection isn’t of technology, it’s of the lack of ownership of every aspect of life. The constant surveillance and bombardment of ads. We don’t want every waking minute of our lives monetized.

Get to the temporary assignment I have for work while I'm still recovering... the person I'm supposed to meet with to get started is running 30 minutes late 😒

Going back to work tomorrow after over a month off due to a hurt back. I'm both excited to be earning money and distressed that my schedule will keep me from seeing my GF for 3 days of the week.

Welp, looks like I will still have work restrictions for the next couple weeks. I really need this temp disability money to come in already.

AoN has been a pillar of the community for years and this partnership has long been something I have held in high regards and even used to get PF2e to be the game of choice for my local community center. Very disappointed to hear this news.

Hey folks. As some of you might have seen on the blog, Paizo was hit by layoffs today. I am safe but I don't feel particularly good about it due to many of my dearest friends finding out they are losing their livelihoods. As these fine folks are looking for jobs and mutual aid, please boost them.
