We just can't catch a break, can we? The EU Kids Act is nightmare fuel, if you look beneath the honorable surface claim of "protecting kids online". The breakdown: www.youtube.com/watc... #StopKillingGames #StopKillingTheInternet

I really like visiting the Helsinki centre. Always something new to find around the corner, all kinds of cool looking outfits everywhere. Maybe next time I can actually afford to visit one of the small niche stores. Every pride flag incremented the good mood. And the 🇺🇦 atop the railway station.

The reason this is good is because Movim uses an open standard protocol (XMPP) on a federated network. In other words, not owned by one corporation or dependent on one client software.

Apparently Movim has become a proper alternative to Discord now. The feature set is very rudimentary for now, but it's those rudimentary, vital features that other apps just seem to ignore. Can recommend trying it. Needs to be installed from the browser. movim.eu
