(I am in shock at this sad news. Peyton was so kind and welcoming. I consider her an honorary Plundercat. She leaves such a legacy of light and love. The Anipal community is here to give Peyton's family the kind of support Peyton gave to so many.)

I apologize to @dashcatphotography.bsky.social who has assured me she is sharing the Cats of Social Media calendar fundraiser in good faith. It is unfortunate that there are actual scammers out there who have led some of us to be wary.

I have to share my newest musical love for any of you who haven't discovered her yet. Nene Royal is a 16-year-old musician from Thailand, who just won America's Got Talent. She is an amazing self-taught guitarist, and a stunning vocalist.

(After an initial assessment yesterday, my husband had his first Personal Service Worker visit today. He currently qualifies for one hour of care, three times a week. The thing is, we do not yet know much about what to ask the PSW to do. Today he helped with a shower and possibly with dressing.

Hope someone is still willing to help Snupsi and me with the last bit. I've reduced the goal on Kofi as things didn't get as expensive as I originally thought, thankfully, but I still need a little help. If someone is able to help, it is much appreciated! ko-fi.com/irithyllwolf...

Hi all, our friend Candy and her beloved Sapphire still need help. She is actively looking for work 🤞but in the meantime she has monthly bills and car repairs that must be taken care of. Her greatest fears are she will end up homeless and therefore, will have to give Sapphire away. ❤️

This is suicide prevention month. An important piece of this is awareness of different types of suicidal ideation, all of which are valid and deserve care. I personally live with chronic ideation. I have never made an attempt. 1/

Info graphic with the title "There are different types of suicidal ideation." There is an image of a thermometer with different colored sections. From bottom to top they are labeled: no ideation, passive, active, act. Beside this are levels described as follow, from bottom to top:
No thoughts
Random intrusive thought
Thoughts of morbidity
Suicidal thoughts (no intent/plan)
Suicidal thoughts (method, no plan or intent)
Suicidal intent (no plan)
Suicidal with plan and intent
Suicide attempt

These categories offer descriptions and examples. I do not currently have the capacity to type them all out, but am happy to answers questions when I have more capacity and more phone battery charge.

There is also a note about the validity of all types and levels of suicidality.
