For the #blueskyartshow #two took these a couple of years ago in Scotland #thekelpies made by artist Andy Scott Sculptures named after the kelpie (shape-shifting, horse-like water spirit in Scottish folklore) and pay homage to the Clydesdales who historically powered industrial transport/agriculture

Took a drive out to Blue Lotus Water Garden near Yarra junction (about an hours drive east from Melbourne). 14 acres of flowers (not just Lotus flowers😊)…..not a place for people with trypophobia (fear of holes!) #lotus #flower #nature #photography

During the Australian Open (tennis) got some photos of Melbourne city and the river before the matches started #melbourne #yarrariver #nature #cityscape #photography

View of Melbourne city from the Yarra river to the east of the city. Some rowers on the water having a break while talking to the person on land (out of shot) to go over their technique

This is Lucie. The stairs in her home are unfortunately haunted. She gets possessed every time she goes down them. 13/10

This is Rue. She had a panic attack after a fire alarm went off in her building. But despite being scared, she was still able to do one of the bravest things of all, and ask for help. 14/10

Word of the day is ‘depooperit’, from 18th-century Scots: ‘enfeebled both mentally and physically’.

Spending time online can leave you with a warped view of the world and that's a shame. Good people have always outnumbered bad people and things generally get better. Hold onto that x

Gotcha! I’ve been trying to smash a shot of these two lovebirds for weeks. Eventually took to a bit of gardening at Western Springs - crawled through some greenery to get into position then removed a whole lot of dead branches that were in the way. Sorry if I broke any rules, written or unwritten… 🪶

Within minutes of an approaching storm in the Yukon's Tombstone Territorial Park, we were pelted by rain & snow & had to retreat to camp. Once it passed, the sky was clear & the entire range blanketed in fresh snow! #photography #nature #bluesky #naturephotography #landscapephotography #landscape

This is Howard. He couldn't decide where to sit. Wound up in two places at once and may require some assistance. 13/10

we’re looking at the black leather backseat of a car where a dog is supposed to be riding. a great dane puppy’s head is nestled in between the head rests on the left and middle, facing forward. his booty and back legs dangle from between the head rests on the middle and right. there is no sign of his body or front limbs. we hope they’re in the trunk area, but we’re actually not 100% confident this is a single dog.

#LouvrePyramid #Paris on a rainy day I don’t know about you, but I love shooting in the rain, especially in the city. There are some images you can never shoot if it’s not raining, like this one for instance. The rain brings out the magic in the city. #architecturephotography #bwphotography #fineart
