DC local reporters- there is an insane story in here about an ID counterfeiter who lived across from Union Market, drove with fake plates, had a gun and drugs in his apartment, and lived under a fake identity! Also includes interesting locations of some DC license plate reader cameras...

Today’s Bike Bus! We took the lane on Q at NJ and were waiting at a red light and a driver behind our group goes “you know there’s a bike lane right there?” What, you think we don’t know? You don’t think there’s a good reason we’re all taking the driving lane? 🙄

I agree — Jack never rides in my GSD anymore except for the rare occasion he gets a flat tire on his bike. So I almost never take kids in the GSD anymore. I still love it and ride it everywhere.

Encountered this one aggressive driver in our bike bus. Kids didn’t really notice the honking but the parents did. His window was down so I yelled “good morning!!” Just as aggressively as he passed us.

Lately our Saturdays require us staying in Ward 3 all day with brief visits to Ward 1. Biking up those hills is second-nature at this point to Jack. Just gotta find ways to bide his time in between activities.
