Denton County and its economy are built around the University of North Texas. Denton County also went 56/43 for Trump in 2024. That's because most voters there wanted to get rid of immigrants. Now, as international students disappear, the university is collapsing. They burned down their own house.

A few thoughts on Dallas primaries: This is a test case coming soon to the midterms. Create confusion, particularly in urban areas Use courts to functionally disenfranchise voters while making their path to voting on Election Day as difficult as possible. Was this racist? Very likely.

Every few months I will buy something at target just to complete their guest survey and rake them over the coals. Mission accomplished! I told them to reinstate DEI and maybe I’d shop there more than once in a while. Also if they hadn’t obeyed in advance maybe they would be in better shape now.
