Want to know a funny stat, in my area the elderly are both the most common rider of bikes (e or otherwise) and not only do they ride more as a pop share but each one of them rides further than any other demographic. So maybe we should build some infastructure so that the ELDERY can safely get around

So using map services to map stuff and couldn't tell what the road conditions where in an area, used a couple different maps to try and compare. Turns out the trail I had mapped is brand new it only shows up in google earth, in google maps it's under construction and bing maps it's just green field.

Anywho, I got all the places and a few trails mapped out already. Also doing interstate connectors (Spokane, Pullman, Vancouver basically). The rule is the route needs to be paved, I've seen the video of the gravel slop that some of the eastern Washington trails amount too.

Doing a little project of mapping out bikeways that connect all the larger towns and cities in Washington State and where there are gaps in the network. Threshold is 10k pop as of the 2026 estimate (I did round Bellingham up to 100k cause like so close and it makes things look prettier imo)
