#FindAGrave turned 30 years old! Anyone else remember it in its early days? I remember how unique and interesting it was. Too bad the founding owner sold out to Ancestry in 2013. I wish FG could go back to it's good old days. This is a great story about how it began. #genealogy

It's insane that Wisconsin puts a paywall around a marriage record from 1858 that may or may not have the needed information. Most of their vital records are stuck behind a paywall making it virtually impossible to do any kind of #genealogy research. Come on Wisconsin, you can do better than this!

My genealogy news this week: Finally convinced friend to take the AncestryDNA test. The $39 sale at holidays was a big motivator. Hope this will launch some new research to resolve some brick walls.
