You absolutely do have a point & i think that issue runs with tons of groups with their fav theory in fandom my ownmy with a lot of Dess Knight critics practically just writing off every Dess associated imagery as a cheap red herring rather than something actually meaningful.

I think we always take a risk when we speculate & create arts & stories but whatever the truth will be, it won't make any of these meaningless. It's all still gonna be part of a truly unique experience so at the end of the day, i donr mind if my own favorite theories are proved wrong

Honestly, same. But i also keep an open mind bc i dont think all these parallels and visual references are meaningless. So of Dess herself is not the Knight, then there's still gonna be an important connection between the two which i'll be excited to find out
