Please consider filling this in for Tom Smith, an MPhil researcher at the University of Wolverhampton, if you have seen an alpine newt preying on/being prayed upon by another amphibian! UK only!

I had a great weekend in Sheffield at the #HWM2025. There were so many great talks and I am very thankful for the opportunity to have presented my research on the common frog, and how we have used citizen science in the project! 🐸

As most pictures I will post on here will be of me, holding a frog, drenched and looking like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards Have a 'normal' selfie to prove I can do both! 🐸 #colouredhairinscience

Supp As I'm new here, thought I'd say hello! I'm a 2nd year PhD student studying the genetics, phylogeography and ecology of Rana temporaria (common frog) in the UK. Riddled with ADHD and severe anxiety, but I'm here for it, and the herps! Oh, and frogs are obviously the best herps, hands down 🤷‍♀️🐸
