That leadership has evolved: leaders were once expected to be extroverted and charismatic, but today there is growing space for more introverted personalities and different leadership styles. The key is to find your own way of leading ad remaining true to yourself is the most important aspect.

A big thank you to @ikmz.bsky.social for the opportunity to participate in this female leadership course! Initiatives like this are much needed to equip and empower early-career women with strategies to strengthen leadership. Also a great opportunity to connect with peers across the department 💪

And that’s a wrap on our second retreat! The city of Bern treated us very well. We explored the city, enjoyed a movie night (Bicentennial man 🔥), visited the museum of communication, and exchanged ideas. We even spotted the Berner bear! (1/2)

Much-needed overview ✨ I think incentivization by funding agencies is missing. Some funders such as our SNF require to share the data in repositories and only cover publication costs for open access journals.

Outcomes for content creators themselves were also ambivalent: • sense of community • monetization opportunities • pressure to remain visible • burnout

Outcomes for audiences were mixed such as: • validation • increase in mental health literacy • over-pathologization • emotional exhaustion • misinformation

2️⃣ You gain data to refer back to throughout the semester, helping you calibrate depth of your lectures.
