Ridiculous parking on Warriston Road this evening. This high lift is parked across the only pavement! I have reported to council but will anything be done on a Friday night / Saturday? It doesn't even have a registration plate! @livingstreetsedi.bsky.social @jackrmcaldwell.bsky.social

#NowPlaying Biggest Bluest Hi-Fi by @camera-obscura.bsky.social Sublime! #vinylrecords #nowspinning
An indoor, eye-level shot features a black Audio-Technica record player with a clear plastic dust cover, resting on a white shelf unit. On the turntable platter, a vinyl record spins with a white slipmat featuring a geometric, spirograph-like pattern in the center.

Propped up directly behind the record player is the vinyl album cover for Camera Obscura's Biggest Bluest Hi-Fi. The album artwork shows a woman in a red-and-white striped t-shirt sitting in a room with green walls, writing on a notepad. On the wall behind her hangs a sepia-toned film poster of a man and a woman embracing.

Below the turntable, the tops of various other vinyl records are visible lined up on the shelf.

Currently, Library and Archives Canada (LAC) receives $208 million from the federal government. It will see a permanent annual cut of $22.1 million, which means spending cuts of nearly $50 million over the next three years.

Apple Music recently mangled my music library, mixing up albums, artwork and tracks. It would no longer let me play some tracks from CDs I'd already purchased, despite previous upload and sync via iTunes Match. I've now ripped some CDs to a standalone music player and finally I can enjoy them again!
