New piece 👏 A Being opens a window, and attempts to take an innocent look at a world unfamiliar to It, contorting our reality in the process #art #horror #DigitalPainting #Procreate

A digital painting. The viewer looks up to a sunny, mostly blue sky with a few clouds, past the trees. In the sky, a door or window is open, seemingly from nowhere, leading into a black abyss. Inside the abyss, a giant creature from another world stares back. It has two cataract eyes, a hollowed nose, and facial features that stretch down like a mask. It also has a gaping mouth with many teeth. It does not appear to be paying much attention to whatever small life forms sit on planet earth, perhaps it doesn't even perceive us.

You stumble upon a writhing doorway, do you approach it? #art #creepy @bsky.art

Hardwood floor, bare wall, and a doorway in the center. The room is bathed in red and rust colored tones. Inside the open doorway is a writhing mass of what looks like intestines or ground beef

"Walk in the Woods" I honestly cannot figure this one out, tried a lot of different things on the birds, but nothing really seems to work. I'll consider this unfinished until I discover the solution 😅 #art @bsky.art #illustration

A scene of a snowy forest. Most of the image is the snow on the ground in a clearing with no vegetation. The flash of the camera causes light to fall off quickly. In the middle of the path there are birds scattering. What they were doing before being startled is not quite clear

"A Knock at the Window" I struggled to find the hook with this one, but I do think it works well on it's own. Luckily though I got some advice that pointed me in the right direction! #art #painting #illustration #dark #eerie #gothic @bsky.art

An American gothic style painting of a dog sitting on a bed, with one leg/paw stretched outward. The dog is looking right at the viewer. Most of the dog is in shadow, as light comes in from the right side, off of the canvas.

There is a window to the right with rain droplets falling down it. The scene is mostly peaceful, but is an unsettling calm. A faint hand print can be seen on the window pane

Sketch of my bedroom the other night maybe around 3-4am? I think the light reflection was due to the snow outside, I just loved how that looked. 🌝🌚 Probably not enough here idea-wise to justify finishing though! #art #painting #creepy

A monochromatic painting of a bedroom at night, with blue light spilling in. The light shines onto a slightly opened door
