Been busy making a big prop for my Goddess piece 🌸 this is just the decorative part.

On March 12th, 2014, I went to Greyhaven bird rescue and met Willow and Kaya, and they picked me. I had meant to get a single cockatiel, and wound up with two conures instead. On March 11th, 2025, Willow and I said a loving goodbye, and he went to join Kaya in the forever. 🩶

Willow is on Nicole’s shoulder. He is nestled into her neck, his feathers fluffed up; he is in decline. He is cozy and seeking comfort, and Nicole has her head turned towards him and looks lovingly at him. This photo was taken the day before his passing.

Spent the weekend taking apart the old and battered ends of my boa, creating rings for new bangle tails. I have a few details to complete at a later date ie. Rhinestoning it to high heaven and changing some attachments but I’m really pleased with my work! Can’t wait to perform with it tomorrow.
