Difficult to prove where I was without including the village in the background. At least 1 bird with leg rings, red with white 2 and white with black 6, possibly others though difficult to see properly

Very late after photographing, but on 21st Apr I was at #Garlieston and there were about 60 #brent #geese. I added this to @birdtrack.bsky.social which has been queried, so I thought I'd post some photos to confirm they were.

Also chaffinch, robin and blackbird only just managing to pick up the mealworm due to the sultanas already held, clearly to feed a chick already! and a blackcap sculking. Again, OM-1, 1.4TC, 300mm f4 Pro, Adobe ACR, no crops. @northyorksbirds.bsky.social

Don't let those legs get too much sun, there's little UV protection at that sort of elevation... though does it matter when you're nearly old enough to retire 🙃😜🤣👨‍🦳

All taken over an hour on 19th, on a small private fishing lake at Jervaulx Abbey. For those that want to know, I used an #OM-1 with #300mm f4 Pro, either with or without the 1.4TC, and 12-100 f4 Pro. Using #ProCapture. #odonata #dragonflies #OMDS #Olympus

@nybirdnews.bsky.social a somewhat late report, for no reason other than I forgot, but a pair of cuckoo flew over Jervaulx yesterday morning about 08:00. Of course I didn't have a camera with me 🙄

The video. As you see, there're collars (about a dozen) I've reported to waterbirdcolourmarking.shinyapps.io/sightings2/ which says they're part of an reintroduction program, and regular about the NE. Sorry it's jerky, OM-1 + 1.4TC & 300mm f4 = 840mm equiv, hand-held. About 200Mtrs away.

Thanks for sharing here, I've just discovered you're on here. Here're a few more images from that afternoon that I've processed properly on the computer. I'm not sure if the cormorant is a normal UK one, I've just not seen those markings before

I have managed today to video the #sun with my OM Systems #OM-1 300mm f4 Pro and TC14 and #Baader foil. I used #AutoStakkert! 4, and used the best 150 images to stack the image, then some editing and cropped in Adobe Camera Raw to produce this... I'm happy with it, but need more practice I think...

I luckily managed to capture the short burst of #aurora at 17:50 on New Year's Day with my #OM-1 & 12-100 f4 lens, 1s ISO 3200, edited on my #Pixel7 with the #PhotoshopExpress app

For fun, I went out round town this morning, with my #OM-1 and 12-100 f4 Pro to do a little focus bracketing, and put some extension tubes on too... then stacked the results in Helicon Focus... all hand held, and am quite happy with the results 🙂 All 28 image stacks

Liv, are you saying that mold on the outside of cheese is different to the blue mold purposefully there in cheeses like Stilton and Roquefort ?
