I have managed today to video the #sun with my OM Systems #OM-1 300mm f4 Pro and TC14 and #Baader foil. I used #AutoStakkert! 4, and used the best 150 images to stack the image, then some editing and cropped in Adobe Camera Raw to produce this... I'm happy with it, but need more practice I think...

For fun, I went out round town this morning, with my #OM-1 and 12-100 f4 Pro to do a little focus bracketing, and put some extension tubes on too... then stacked the results in Helicon Focus... all hand held, and am quite happy with the results 🙂 All 28 image stacks

This single #solar disk image with #sunspots through the #fog at 13:55 on 26th Dec, #OM-1, 300mm f4 Pro with 1.4x TC (equates to 840mm) 1/32000 @ f14 and then cropped in ACR. I will video the sun using #Baader foil the next time I get clear skies, then I'll use #AutoStakkert! to stack frames...

I was very fortunate to capture this #KelvinHelmoltz #KH #fluctus #cloud with a bit of #iridescence and #shadow #rays from #sunset on 22nd near #Topcliffe #Yorkshire as with most stunning formations they were gone in 5 minutes !
