"That's no moon" astronomers told me this week in reference to a distant Jupiter-mass object. That doesn't mean it isn't interesting though! The not-moon may show a complex history of its star system and has sparked debate of what a moon is anyway. Listen for more: www.nature.com/articles/d41...

Block up part of the heart to prevent strokes? Yep, turns out the heart has an appendage you've probably never heard of, and if your heart beats too fast it can raise stroke risk. So, these researchers made a magnetic fluid to solve that. New vid for @nature.com
