Picked up something fun on my trip to Patcon in Massachusetts. What a great looking figure, and an easy build too. Ohh yeah I finished Shenlong too, I'll have some photos of that up once I get around to them. #yugioh #modelkit #obeliskthetormentor #plamo #bandai #figure #anime #scifi

Minor hiatus. Shenlong is about ready for painting. I have some tweaks to make on the base otherwise we're hitting the spray booth tomorrow. #gundamwing #gundamshenlong #shenlong #dragon #mecha #gundam #gunpla #primer #scifi #anime #modelkit #plamo

My current art obsession is this round ass Godzilla by Mike Mignola. Plump but still menacing w/ that classic Mignola line and shape efficiency.

Clean up on the shenlong is well underway. Slowly moving through describing and mold correcting where I can. I finally finished the details on the damaged shoulder, now just to do the lower arm. Hopefully I get through most of this this weekend so I can paint. #gundam #gunpla #shenlong #gundamwing

Mounted the shenlong into a proper base block. Literally just a small block of wood. I'll share photos once I rebuild the acrylic rod that holds the model up. #wip #gundamwing #gunpla

Fun fact, it's ok to not be perfect at things you like doing. Its ok to make mistakes, or to be content with your current abilities. Internet comments are often "you dont know what you're doing" and "man this sucks" but it's OKAY. You don't have to optimise and min max things you like doing.

Shaky hands today, but got a good bit of detail added to the damaged arm. Really want to get to the damage texture today. Time for a break though.

Pretty sure I've posted this guy in the past? It's a more recent WIP I pick at when I'm not feeling the main courses. Added some detailing and got it primed this week. Gonna attempt to get it done for a show in September. Wish me luck! #gundamwing #gunpla #gundam #plasticmodel #shenlong #dragon

Always fiddling with whatever looks fun at the moment, Ill get back around to the destiny, but I've started the clean up for this Astrea for a group build I'm hoping to finish. Modified the back pack yesterday so it holds the long sword. Needs a ton of clean up but we'll get that going today.

In 2018, a friend invited me to watch Gundam with him. I instantly fell it love and it sparked my obsession for giant robots. 8 years later, I find myself participating in the making of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM RG XARX-ZERO as a prop designer, matte painter and special effect artist!

So big I couldn't get it all snapped today. I have a busy week heading into next weekend so it'll be a minute before I can finish the Zeus system I imagine. But I'll post about the modifications I have to do to get her mounted as I do them.. Here's to hoping it's not overly complex. #gundam #gunpla

I've been completely MIA while I plan a Convention Table for our local group the past few months. About the only thing I've done in the shop lately, is buy some paints and build them a home. Does the job as intended. Now to find time to use them...

I genuinely want to dedicate my whole being into building a makers 3rd space full of equipment and materials that would allow people greater entry into various non traditional art making all while growing the community I've worked to build over the past ten years in the RVA scale model scene.

While I'm hyped for the FSS build, this one doesn't require as much attention. And God do I love the MGSD. This one is no exception, extremely lovely engineering and very clever gimmicks. The torso on this one is a bit more refined than the last. Wonderful stuff. #gundam #gunpla #plamo #dedtiny

I genuinely live by the modeling ethos that if it breaks, you CAN fix it. Layered and sprayed a few different blues until I found the combinations closest to what I used. Tomorrow I'll run these two colors over a few more spoons to test variation and see what I find. #youcanfixit #plamo #gunpla
