Still not over how good Gears E-Day looks on Xbox Series X. This reminds me of how I felt when I first saw a clip of Gears 1 running on the 360 back on the day and it blew me away. Proper showcase.

After a whole bunch of QSSR testing in Yotei now… I gotta say, very impressed with Sony for this addition out of the blue. Hope we see a lot of games get updates soon.

Been playing the Witcher 3 Remastered on Switch 2 (video coming soon) and surprised to find there’s no 60fps performance / 30fps quality modes like CP2077 on NS2. Handheld’s resolution can drop quite badly but it keeps frame-rate smooth. Some direct handheld mode captures:

Considering how good CP2077 was on NS2, been very interested to specifically test Witcher 3 Remaster on Switch 2. Reviewing now thanks to CDPR hooking me up with early access when I reached out.

I’m getting SO tired of seeing this same Ai design style over and over and over again on absolutely everything.

This kinda shit is the reason I don’t think I’ll ever truly win on YouTube. You gotta be willing to sell that soul and really lean in to hook up all those juicy views.

It's a bumper episode of Checkpoint Chat with Sandy and Matty both floored by how good Big Walk is. Matty has also loved his time with Onimusha: Way of the Sword, while Sandy has taken a look at Minishoot Adventures. Finally, Wolverine just doesn't have the sauce, does it? #gaming #podcast

So many indie devs who market their games on Reddit with titles like this are potential losing tons of sales (and I see so many of them). You may also know me as a games writer and reviewer, but I’ve got 24 years in branding & marketing consultation behind me. 1/

I’ve been playing around with the new Siri AI since I did the iOS 27 update (I had to put myself in the queue, took a day or so), and let me tell you… I’m starting to think its pretty damn legit. Especially with how it can work with info on your device. Very impressed so far.

Pretty bold of Konami to have the weather changed to a Silent Hill theme to promote Townfall. A bit much but I respect the hustle.

I wish I had time and energy to find every single grifter account that crapped out posts about how bad the Resident Evil movie was gonna be, so that if any of them praises it after actually seeing it they get added to a big, pretty collage of exposed grifter losers to ignore.

Guys I just CANNOT with the Indycar ads anymore when I have to watch a Fox broadcast. DO AMERICANS NOT REALISE how ridiculous this is? The sheer frequency and amount of ads (also how bad the ads are?). Fans deserve better.

Watched the first 2 episodes of the Grand Tour with the new hosts and it’s been sensational so far - especially knowing how Top Gear went after. Throttle House was already great but Francis Bourgeois is proving to be a way better fit and far more entertaining than expected.

Youtube really screws you sometimes. SO incredibly proud of some recent video reviews, like Halo, Black Flag and some smaller titles. Heartbreaking to see YT just stick them away in a corner and not recommend them. So much love & effort met with as low as a few 100 views. It feel's pretty crap.

Spent 15 years as a graphic designer fighting hard to run a business where clients treated you like you don’t matter. It hurts to realise they DID all want it, they just didn’t actually want to pay for it. The slop is “good enough”, I see.
