I have absolutely no idea, and neither do you. Biden could have very well still won it, probably by a thin margin. It certainly wasn’t going to be a 30-point win by Biden, which had the cascading effect of shoving out all the rest of the moderates to coalesce behind him before Super Tuesday.

I find this to be a grievous error. We have traded IA/NH, states that are not demographically representative of the Dem base to a state that is not ideologically representative of the Dem base. The best candidate of that list, by far, was Georgia. This calendar will produce a weaker nominee.

When I interned on the Hill for Sen. Cassidy in his 1st term, I was surprised by just how friendly so many of the Members were. Booker returned a friendly nod, Bernie talked to me out on the street, and I had a surprise 1on1 with Isaacson on the underground tram. The only jerk I met was Vitter.
