Re-read all of w0rldtr33 before doing v4, and it's still a recognisably lurid internet horror. As an elder millennial with nostalgic memories of when Online was good, I am peak target audience for this, but it's hitting something both pulpy and enjoyable, but also... too real if you think about it.

Great Rosa Walton gig earlier. Strong purple atmosphere. Her solo album has stuck on the rotation, if anyone was looking for music. (Also her Let's Eat Grandma bandmate Jenny on Holiday did a good record earlier in the year.)

On another whim, read a chunk of the Jed MacKay/Alessandro Cappuccio Moon Knight run and enjoyed it a lot. Blends the solid head-crunching stuff and the weirder aspects with a light touch. One of the best straight superhero series I've read in a while.

Saw Coyote Vs Acme (at one of the few screenings in London) and enjoyed it a huge amount. Extremely well-pitched sillyness with slight message. Appreciated their commitment to Wile E. Coyote being a bird-fixated maniac even when he's the "hero" of this movie.

Saw Camp Miasma, enjoyed it a lot. More surreal films using genre tropes to try and express deep underlying and complex feelings please, I like them. Didn't damage me as much as I Saw The TV Glow, but don't think it was really trying to.

I still blame Priest & Bright's Quantum & Woody for my continued enjoyment of livestock and animals in comics (and most other forms of fiction). Vincent Van Goat forever.

Finished re-reading the whole Morrison Batman run, right to Incorporated, weirdly the part which feels most like a regular Batman comic despite having the biggest status quo shift. Still enjoyed the rollicking adventures though. And also some peak Damian moments in this bit. (Yes, I mean Bat-Cow.)

Saw Spidey and liked it. Refreshing to see him bashing people up in the New York area rather than crossing dimensions. Enjoyably episodic movie, gave me that warm serialised comic feel. Bit weird to use Punisher when you seemingly are not allowed to say "Punisher" in the film.

On a whim the other day, re-read the whole first chunk of Grant Morrison's Batman run (up to RIP). Not read any Morrison for a few years, and I'd forgotten how enjoyably dense their stuff is, especially once you get a short way into it. Every page connecting dots in your mind.

Read Feral v1-4 over the last week and massively enjoyed it. Honestly thought I was a bit burnt out on survival horror, but this one had me from the beginning. Maybe I just needed to see cute cats in danger to get properly invested.
