Ugh I am annoyed I got the urge to work on a romance between an Asian Vampire and a mortal woman and when I pulled up the folder I discovered the folder of notes on world building was empty. Oh well, back to the drawing board as it were. #writerslife

Sorry it took so long to reply. But right now I don’t need anymore beta readers. I will probably have another round of beta reading next year.

I do not remember the case but that is fucking wild. It’s hard to read a YA book without tripping over a hot broody male lead.

So, I am planning a domestic thriller where I take the toxic/abusive, "alpha" male trope that is used in a lot of romances and playing it straight. So possible titles: You Made Me Don’t Leave Me Till Death All Your Fault I Blame You Home Sweet Hell Hell is Where the Heart Is

This may seem obvious to some, which is fine, but to those who aren't aware, please be vigilant about the 'email offers' you get from 'publishers'. A real acquisitions editor will contact you using the publisher's domain, not a gmail account. The email will sound professional, not gushy. #Booksky

Why would anyone but a traditional woman want a traditional man? Also having the first date be at a house is like stranger danger 101.

in between working on Chrysalis and Whips, I am also writing Pink Nightshades and Cinder's Replacement. I am also planning a Domestic Thriller and a romance between a MMA fighter who knits and a plus sized woman, I haven't decided on what she does aside from knits.

SO I just watched a video of a Mongolian Bökh wrestler carry his mother across a stage and now I want to create a muscular guy who likes to knit. Also I wanna take the toxic alpha male Trope and turn it into a thriller with a body count of yhr FMC’s loved ones.

I think I need to take a break from querying tonight. I accidentally requeried an agent I had already queried. Ughhhhhh!

Time to send out the next batch of queries to lit agents. Wish me luck! #amquerying #amqueryingromance

Welp, I managed to delete at least 100 uses of the word before in my manuscript Ramón + Isolda. I still have over 200 of them in my manuscript but I am going to make sure Midnight, stays female throughout the manuscript. #RamonandIsolda # RamonplusIsolda #amwriting #amediting #Romance

So, I am working on Cinder’s Replacement of which I have completed the last half of chapter 2, switched chapters 3 and 4, and finished chapter three. I say I deserve a little break. #amwriting #amwritingromance #CindersReplacement #amediting #Romance #Romancenovel

Shit I accidentally queried the same lit agent twice. Oops. This is why you carefully check your excel spreadsheet of agents you’ve queried folks.

This is really important to remember. Do I wish I could immediately tell every time? Absolutely. But just making my stance clear and rejecting it when I can has to be enough. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Susan is absolutely right.
