I focus on when #TVshows were good in hope it will get better. Dexter is a great example. It got weird after Rita... (no spoilers), but the current revival set many years later in NYC is wonderful. Even after (no spoilers) that happened in the first run, 95% of the remaining episodes were great.

I cringe when I see "Sure, I'm sure." in scripts after a character is prompted, "Are you sure?" Real people rarely say, "Sure, I'm sure." when truthful. We say; "Yes" "No" "Absolutely" etc. When performed, the phrase can disrupt an Actor's cadence and too heavily foreshadow plot. #Writing #Drama
