Arjen van Lil (RMA, MSc; Researcher at ARQ National Psychotrauma Centre in Diemen, the Netherlands) stayed at the NIA for six weeks, to work on his book examining the question whether the ancient Greeks and Romans experienced the psychological impact of war and violence the same way as we do..

On April 28 and 29 the NIA and the Scandinavian Institutes in Athens organize the international meeting “Resilience and Reconciliation: Democracy in Crisis and Repair across History”, consisting of 3 Round Tables, hosted at the Finnish Institute (28/4) and the Swedish Institute (29/4). Stay tuned!
