Y'all, my kid made me a birthday card with DISCO on it.. I am so delighted.

Been working on finishing up some dangling projects... This is a fingering weight cowl in linen stitch. I'm enjoying the fabric it makes, flat on one side and sort of dragon scales on the other. Hopefully done this weekend?

Everything about this shirt continued to be the best part.

Cancer Cat update (Positive): She's fine. She's feeling great. She's knocking things off tables like a champ. She thinks it's hysterical. She knows no one will yell her because she has cancer, so she's perhaps at maximum menace. She's currently laying across my bullet journal to maximum effect.

Morning activity: framing reproductive justice prints I've had around for a while. Felt... relevant.

It's a little chaotic and flat because we were up late refreshing the colors and I slept on it wet, because I'm a monster.

Cancer cat (Essie) seems to be doing great, considering. Because it is so early we think her pain hadn't gotten ahead of her. She's back to prancing around.

A funny picture and a slightly sad story. One of our cats got diagnosed with murder cancer this week. (Multiple myeloma). Don't Google it. We caught it super early, and she's in meds that are helping. But she's settled on our dining room table. So I've made her a nest. This cat? Not cancer cat.

The irony of my employer sending this magazine cover knows no bounds. UW administration is working overtime to fire department staff and offload even more work into faculty. Absolutely unconscionable.
