The Quality Standard for Imaging 2026
The Society and College of Radiographers The standards set out the quality statements, outcome measures and supporting guidance that underpin the QSI Quality Mark. Each standard includes suggestions, notes and links to additional resources to help services understand what good quality looks like in practice. Developed through an extensive review process and consultation with stakeholders across the imaging community, the updated standards reflect the changing needs of imaging services whilst continuing to support high-quality, patient-centred care.

National Commission into the Regulation of AI in Healthcare: Recommendations for a future regulatory framework
MHRA - 10 September 2026 These reports contain the recommendations made by the National Commission into the Regulation of AI in Healthcare. The National Commission into the Regulation of AI in Healthcare was established to advise government on a future regulatory framework for AI in healthcare. In doing so, it is considering not only the regulation of safe and effective software and AI-enabled medical devices but also wider issues such as accountability, transparency, clinical practice, organisational governance and system-wide level assurance.

Skin cancer – RCR consensus statements
The Royal College of Radiologists The RCR consensus process was initially developed in 2016 to help reduce variation in UK radiotherapy practice. The skin cancer consensus statements should serve as a practical stimulus for skin multi-disciplinary cancer teams to review their current radiotherapy service to ensure that they are able to deliver optimal treatment for their patients. They should be adopted in parallel with relevant National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance.
