Hey everyone! So I have some #mathart that has been sitting in storage and I’d love to give it away to anyone who is interested. Just cover the cost of shipping and it’s yours! DM me if any of the pieces in this thread are of interest. Notes on a triangle (cardstock, 9x9in)

Pattern block play! #PatternBlocks #iTeachMath
The top left main image shows a square-like geometric design created with pattern blocks. At the center (and in the four corners) are flower-like arrangements made of four blue and four tan rhombuses surrounded by eight orange squares. Around the central design are four dodecagons, each made of one yellow hexagon, six green triangles, and six orange squares. The images along the bottom and on the right show the progression of the design.

Culture & Identity in the Math Classroom
How do elements of the culture students bring into the classroom interact with the classroom culture we create? What does it mean to shift or honor them? Earlier this week, I watched the first session in TERC's Forum for Equity in Elementary Mathematics series '25-'26. Dr. Pam Seda spoke about "Culturally Relevant Math Tasks: When What You Teach Connects to Who They Are."
