The Rotary Club of Audley held their first Repair Cafe today. A great success and looking forward to our next one. I only managed a couple of hours, unfortunately, due to a certain football match with an early kick-off 😂

There is something so, so wonderful about coming from behind to win a game, especially when it's a late winner 😍⚽️. Well played #scfc 👏👏

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I think the most frustrating thing about #scfc is the lack of organisation. Players making decent runs, but being ignored; quick breaks, but no support; aimless balls into the box. It does make you wonder what they work on all week🤷🏻‍♂️

Just spent 20 minutes selecting my ticket for the Hull game. It's almost impossible on a phone. Stoke City's IT systems are useless 😡

The European Athletics Championships has been brilliant, with some outstanding performances. A special mention for Jasmine Sawyers, though. Outstanding series of jumps and what a great ambassador for Stoke-on-Trent

I had hoped last week's game was down to rustiness. Seems I was wrong. Poor all over the pitch, but particularly in the last third. Awful decision making and sloppiness. It's going to be another tough season #scfc unless new quality signings can come in and hit the ground running.

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Good to get through to next round #scfc but that was a tough watch, particularly in the 1st half. Galbraith looks a bit special and should get better with games. Desperately need full-back situation addressing and please stop playing Manhoef at 10. He looks lost and offers so much more on the wing

040

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

I'm dreading when the inevitable happens and VAR comes to the Championship. It completely destroys the match day experience. I would happily take a handful of wrong decisions each season rather than have to put up with it 😢

Well, the new Stones album doesn't disappoint 😍

Awful news about the passing of Mark Hughs's son. As a parent, I have no idea how you cope with something like that 😢

030

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Hats off to Hull. When you consider their transfer embargo, their season has been nothing short of miraculous. Maybe there’s something to be said for building on what you have instead of constantly changing players 🤷🏼‍♂️

010

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Well, Stoke City, you continue to surprise me. Every time I think you can't put in a worse performance, you prove me wrong. No passion, no fight, just pure apathy. Huge clear out needed, starting with midfield. Only Thomas and Agina can hold their head up tonight 😡

060

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

Just a shambolic performance #scfc I don't understand why we keep making simple mistakes. Week after week, game after game. That's not a coaching issue, or even a lack of ability. It's lack of concentration. So frustrating 😫

Ashamed to say that I knew next to nothing about the life of Margaret Tudor, so this was a fascinating insight 📚💙 #books #history

Players and managers moan about playing too many games without a rest. Meanwhile, in 1971 we have ‘replay tomorrow’ 🤣🤣

110

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 11/04/2026

Lots of effort from #scfc today, but lacking in quality and continuing to fail at doing the simple things. End of season look about them. Just wish Robbins would go back to Manhoef on the wing and stop experimenting. Think there will be a few moving on in the summer

'Adequate' probably best sums up today's performance. Did what we needed to, but so sloppy and lacklustre for most of the game. Monday's game will be much tougher, but I expect a fair few changes in personnel #scfc

020

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

Thought we were excellent today. Just wish we didn’t look so shaky defensively at times. Rigo and Manhoef were particularly impressive. Great to actually enjoy watching us again 😍 #scfc

Can't recommend this highly enough. Brilliant, detailed story of her time imprisoned in England. A sad tale of intrigue, cruelty and deceit set against a background of religion, misguided beliefs and propaganda 👌👏👏 #history #books 📚💙

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

Before kick-off, I would have taken a point. Just disappointing that we gave away a 2 goal lead. Never gave up though and good that Smit is up and running. Just wish we would stop being so sloppy. We cause so many of our own problems 🤦‍♂️ #scfc

Good to get 3 points tonight. Played well, but made hard work of it at times. Almost forgotten what it's like to watch us win😂 I thought Manhoef looked good playing the floating role. Worth trying again. #scfc

What’s brought ar**hole Johnson out from under his rock? New book out? Defecting to Reform, or does he know his name is about to pop-up in the I-Spy book of Epstein perverts? Either way, it seems Kuenssberg is back in her element fawning all over him 🤢

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

Not sure we deserved that point tbh, but I will take it. Just once, it would be nice if #scfc could put 2 good halves of a football game together 🤷🏼‍♂️

Do it now. If we want democracy we need a reliable source of truth. If we want truth we need it to be independent of multinational billionaires. The BBC is crucial and must not be privatised or run as a commercial company interested only in profit.

Really poor performance today #scfc We seem to have become really sloppy and careless these last few games. Robbins needs to address it or we are going to start sliding down the league ☹️

Frustrating game again 😑. Too many misplaced passes when we had good opportunities in the first half. Can't complain about the effort though. We are so close to being a really good side. Oh, for our luck to change 🤞 #scfc

Can't get over how appalling QPR were today. Contributed nothing and just set-out to make the game into an ugly spectical. Diving, play-acting, nasty tackles and time-wasting. Having said that, we should have put the game to bed in the first half. #scfc

Walking to the game tonight, people were rubbing their hands with glee about playing 2 strikers. End of the night, all moaning about it 😂. Fair to say it was a failed experiment. Much better after the subs. Thought Juno was excellent and lifted the game #scfc

Frustrating game today. Thought Lawal looked uncomfortable at full back and if Cresswell is going to be out for a while, we are going to struggle. A decent striker would be a bonus, but we don't create that many chances tbh. At least we didn't lose though 🤷🏻‍♂️. #scfc

I think that’s what’s called a hard fought for result. Some solid performances. I thought that was probably Juno’s most influential performance of the season and Bocat is starting to win me over. Let’s hope we can build on this 🤞 #scfc

Shocking referee but, let’s be honest, we should have put the game to bed by halftime. Plenty of effort and good play, but not clinical enough. Their halftime subs changed the game. They set out to rough us up and due to the crap ref it worked. On to the next game

nginnis.bsky.social @nginnis.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

Great performance and result #scfc 👏👏 So many good performances, but I must single out Bozenik who I thought made us look so much better with his hold-up play and quick layoffs. Hope we stick with him on Saturday 🤞
