Ethical sex or good sex requires more than consent. It also requires a proper regard for one’s own self and for the other, including a proper regard for the other’s desires and beliefs (Archard, 2022), or ‘mutuality’, a caring attention to the other person (Lamb et al., 2021)

On Monday, I attended a seminar organised by the Gender and Sexualities research cluster at Aston. Dr Jilly Boyce talked about the rise of digital, reactionary 'feminism', and how these online spaces mirror the practices of the manosphere, spreading ideas of gender inequality. Fascinating research.
