Nothing killed my confidence like my mother. Nothing brought about my anxiety as much as my mother. Her family treated her the same way. I have all these "mental issues" because i was broken. I have started to find peace. I also deal with 1 phone call a week from my mom. And it's almost too much.

My mother recently stated she was sorry for how she treated us as children. How we moved all over the place from when i was born to my high school years. For a while, we were homeless trying to live in a hotel. She was very "you're smart and making *me* money when you grow up"

today I had a wonderful customer I was outfitting for a sleeping bag and sleeping pad. after 30 minutes of figuring out what works best for the customer, he put his shoes back on and tied them. it turned into a 15-minute discussion about how people tie their shoes and everyone ties them differently

Last night I watched the final episode of "Love Unseen under Clear Skies" and i am still wrecked. The ending was perfect. Absolutely perfect. It was very sad, and a bit uplifting at the end. I 100% recommend it. It hurts me a lot as I am a cancer survivor & my wife has an incurable type of cancer.

I tend to wear vibrant colors to funerals. Today it is blue from my hat (not worn in to the church) to my shoes. (except my pants). To me a funeral is a celebration of life. It can be a brief respite from the pain of grief. Grief, unfortunately lasts a lifetime.

Another reason why I will not ever recommend HersheyPark to anyone. They commented on their "latest deal" for 50$ a ticket in reaponse to someone saying that Dollywood's prices were reasonable. Back in 2001 a HersheyPark pass (season) was 100$. Price for park now (with parking) is $100 for a day.

My wife had to remind me that i, as of yesterday, am 7 years cancer free. A 2" x 4" tumour was removed from my left kidney. I have the scar about 14" across my abdomen to the back. I tell kids it is why you dont play with chainsaws when they stare. Anyway #fuckcancer #cancersucks #fundcancerresearch
