today I had a wonderful customer I was outfitting for a sleeping bag and sleeping pad. after 30 minutes of figuring out what works best for the customer, he put his shoes back on and tied them. it turned into a 15-minute discussion about how people tie their shoes and everyone ties them differently

I love weather people. They can get it wrong and keep their jobs. All jokes aside, you can tell most of them cater to the pessimistic side: Partly cloudy instead of mostly sunny, and mostly cloudy not partly sunny. There are some who break this, but locally, they do this. #weather

Last night I watched the final episode of "Love Unseen under Clear Skies" and i am still wrecked. The ending was perfect. Absolutely perfect. It was very sad, and a bit uplifting at the end. I 100% recommend it. It hurts me a lot as I am a cancer survivor & my wife has an incurable type of cancer.

I tend to wear vibrant colors to funerals. Today it is blue from my hat (not worn in to the church) to my shoes. (except my pants). To me a funeral is a celebration of life. It can be a brief respite from the pain of grief. Grief, unfortunately lasts a lifetime.

Another reason why I will not ever recommend HersheyPark to anyone. They commented on their "latest deal" for 50$ a ticket in reaponse to someone saying that Dollywood's prices were reasonable. Back in 2001 a HersheyPark pass (season) was 100$. Price for park now (with parking) is $100 for a day.

My wife had to remind me that i, as of yesterday, am 7 years cancer free. A 2" x 4" tumour was removed from my left kidney. I have the scar about 14" across my abdomen to the back. I tell kids it is why you dont play with chainsaws when they stare. Anyway #fuckcancer #cancersucks #fundcancerresearch

I am finding that more and more clothing companies hate plus-sized women. When you can easily find a 42+ waist aize for men, it is hard to even find an 18 or 20 regular. Our store has seen a dip in plus sized clothing, and increases in sizes 6 and lower. This is not inclusive. (1/4)

Science prevails. The problem woth a lot in medicine is this: Most of the "average measurements" are based off of white people. This includes the very overused BMI (which doesn't account for many factors). This is good news and a great innovation!

Picked up two #vintage #boardgames. Numble from 1965 and the original TSR version of The Cheers Game from 1987. This adds to my collection of pre-90s releases: HeroQuest (1990, I know) and Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Little Folks Game (1956)
