This Dec is my 31st deadmomiversary and yeah, everything has always had dead moms. When I was a kid, Star Wars had an at the time unnamed dead mom AND a dead surrogate mom (Beru), then Anakin got a dead mom (Shmi), then ANOTHER unnamed dead mom for Rey! And that’s just Star Wars. It IS exhausting.

Oh wow, there’s two other arrays at Great Adventure, I just hadn’t zoomed out enough. Turns out Great Adventure has a 23 megawatt capacity which covers approx 98% of the park’s operating power. Presumably they sell a bunch of power to JCPL from Nov-April when the park is closed for the winter.

There’s an article about how six flags magic mountain just installed a ton of solar panels over its parking lot, and the one here in New Jersey seems to have done it too, although not over the lot that’s closest to the main park entrance.

All five Bourne movies are back on Netflix so I watched them all again this weekend. Doug Liman's first entry is of course a masterpiece, but the first four were also written by none other than Andor's Tony Gilroy. He also directed Legacy, the one with Jeremy Renner, and fuck is that one so good.

I watched The King on Netflix this morning, and it came out a while back. It presents us a Henry V that was tricked into war with France by one of his scheming viziers, and a weird idea that mud and not simply a shit ton of longbows is what won at Agincourt, but hey, it’s still a pretty good movie.

It’s Saturday night and I’m staying at a client’s house in a small beach town that has three roads in and out of it, that regularly flood during normal rain, and this weekend it’s a noreaster on a full moon, so the only time I can get in or out of town is at low tide. But the dogs are p good.
