I check on it between classes. after a couple of hours it started to perk up. by lunch it was gone! statistics aren’t great for window struck birds but I hope this one bucks the odds. I’ll follow up with the business about preventing collisions like this in the future. good luck, buddy!

I gently picked it up, put it an empty shopping bag I happened to have in my pannier and got it to work less than a minute away. my classroom has a balcony (it was supposed to be a greenhouse but the district ran out of money). I gently placed it there, sort of hidden behind the empty bag.

We got an 8 month old puppy two weeks ago who promptly proceeded to have liquid poops - so stressful! (We were lucky and things firmed up after a day or so.) Glad your pup will be ok!

birds! i made this a while ago, people were wondering what was going on with the legs. i don't think flamingos sit plantigrade very often!
